WildOnCash announces new gay site

Filed under: Affiliate News — Dr Bill @ 9:05 am

WildOnCash has added an ebony site to their collection of gay sites available for promotion. The sponsor claims its new site BruthaLove.com “offers the best collection of black videos on the internet today.”

WildOnCash

“The black/ebony niche is an extremely popular gay niche and we are excited to offer webmasters another kick-ass converting website,” said Brent, Owner of WildOnCash.com. “Our black content is some of our most viewed content in our mega site, MaleVideoNetwork.com; therefore, it just made sense to bring out a site for surfers who want to see more black porn”, Brent continued.

WildOnCash.com is a 50/50 recurring revenue program powered by CCbill. Promotional materials include FHG’s (with descriptions), custom banners, and free photo and video content. Webmasters get credit for exit traffic sales when signups go to other WildOnCash sites, and earn 10% of the net sales of all webmasters they refer.

Working with models #29

Filed under: Producing — Dr Bill @ 7:58 am

This is one of many articles I’ll post for those of you interested in producing your own content. My focus will be more on working with the models and equipment, than dealing with the legal (2257) stuff.

In my last article I talked about positioning the models head, eyes, eyebrows and jaw. Now lets look at body positions. The possibilities are endless, so I’m not going to try and cover them all. The important thing to understand is what you are trying to achieve with good body position. The goal is to capture what flatters the model and avoid what does not.

While trying to bring out one feature of model, you must also keep your eye on everything else that’s happening with his body. It’s highly unlikely you will get perfection in every shot. But the more you pay attention, the better your results will be. Something as simple as the odd positioning of a hand or foot can have a huge impact on the overall look of the photo.

Having the model cross his arms just below the chest will pop his upper arm and chest muscles. Changing his foot and leg positions can make all the difference in getting good butt. When sitting down, you can get rid of a stomach pooch by telling him to lean back on his hands. Having a model reach up over his head will often give him a thinner waistline. When shooting a profile, have the model put his hand on his stomach so it does not block the view of his dick. These are just a few of the endless list of examples I could offer.

Don’t try to develop a list of stock body positions. Instead look for positions that flatter the model you are working with. It’s your job to bring out the best in him, and a stock set of positions will not do that.

Also keep in mind that your position in relation to the subject can produce different results. Don’t be afraid to get up on a stepladder and shoot down on him, or get down low and shoot up. You would be surprised what a difference extreme camera angles can make.

There are no rules here. It’s all about having a good eye, paying attention to details, and using your creativity by experimenting. As long as you are sharpening these skills your results will get better and better. The great thing about digital photography is the film is free.

Powermen announces affiliate program

Filed under: Affiliate News — Dr Bill @ 8:39 am

Artuli Media and Body Design Productions have announced an affiliate program for their newest site Powermen.com. The new program uses CCbill, and offers webmasters the standard 50% on any new sales and all rebills.

Steve Small

According to their announcement, Artuli Media specializes in high quality video and photography of some of the largest, and most muscular men in the body building world. Their site, Powermen, features up and coming bodybuilders, too young to compete with the big boys, but big enough to be considered contenders in the next few years. Artuli Media states their models are real muscle men, not just guys with nice looking bodies.

While they already have an extensive collection of promotional materials, including free hosted galleries, more are promised. Artuli Media will be adding more banners, flash banners, hosted galleries, and content to build review sites, free sites, and galleries.

A company spokesperson said, “review sites have been especially effective with high conversion ratios, and we particularly welcome review sites.”

Working with models #28

Filed under: Producing — Dr Bill @ 8:49 am

This is one of many articles I’ll post for those of you interested in producing your own content. My focus will be more on working with the models and equipment, than dealing with the legal (2257) stuff.

Getting the model to look natural instead of frozen stiff is a common challenge for the photographer. This is typical with inexperienced models, as they tend to be overly self-conscious. It’s your job to give the model a more animated look.

Understanding how to make use of specific body positions can largely alleviate the problem. Combining these positions gives the photographer an infinite number of options to work with. And properly used, these body positions will accentuate the positive while diluting the negative features of a model.

It will take more than one article to explain all the techniques. For now, let’s focus on the most important part of the body - the model’s head. You would be amazed at the difference a slight adjustment of the head, eyes, eyebrows, and jaw can make.

First explore head positions by tilting left or right, tilting up or down, and turning left or right. Then work with combinations of tilting and turning the head.

Next play with eye position. There is no rule that says your subject should be looking directly at the camera. The important thing is to avoid showing too much white in the eyes, as this almost always has a negative effect.

An amazing transformation takes place by simply asking the model to raise one or both eyebrows. It totally brightens the model’s face, and eliminates the droopy-eyed look. Some models will not be able to raise one eyebrow on demand, but all can raise both simultaneously.

Telling the model to open his mouth slightly can have a profound effect on his looks. The model should practice this in front of a mirror to get it right. If overdone it will make him look stupid. Done just right it will give him a sultry beckoning look. You might also have the model play around with shifting his lower jaw “very slightly” left, right or forward.

Some models have difficulty delivering a natural looking smile. When this happens you end up with a constant boring closed lipped look through out the shoot. Playing around with the drop jaw look will give you the variety you need. It also eliminates a pouting or frowning look when used in combination with raised eyebrows, and a little tilt of the head.

Combining some or all of these positions will give you a wide range of looks that remove that frozen stiff posing for the camera look. Some combinations will flatter the model while others will have the opposite effect. Each model is different, so you have to experiment to find out what works. Don’t over exadurate these positions. Most work best when used in moderation.

The new GayDemon

Filed under: Industry News, Traffic — Dr Bill @ 9:23 am

Members of GayMainStreet.com got a preview of the new GayDemon.com earlier this week. The overall reaction was a big WOW. This popular consumer portal has been redesigned from the top down, delivering a state-of-the-art destination for those seeking gay porn.

Gay Demon

Already known for its extensive links directory and top-notch site reviews, GayDemon has expanded its offerings to include, free galleries, video on demand, a dating service, blog entries, and editorials. The one feature site owner Bjorn apparently decided against is a consumer message board. Leaving it off the menu is completely understandable, given the inherent liability that comes with allowing consumers to upload photos.

Noticeably absent in the new version are all the graphic banner ads. Instead, Bjorn has decided to integrate the majority of his advertisements as text links, a trend we are seeing more of these days.

The crowning jewel of the new site is its eye catching graphical demon, created by erotic artist Patrick Fillion especially for the site. It clearly makes a statement that you have arrived at something very different, and incredibly well done.

The new GayDemon.com went live to the general public yesterday, and in doing so, raised the bar on gay adult consumer portals. In my opinion, the new GayDemon.com sets the standard others must now follow.
