Director/producer Dink Flamingo, owner of Active Duty, a gay amateur “straight boy” military themed site, has announced the launch of his brand new affiliate program, FlamingoBucks. The CCBill powered FlamingoBucks offers a 50% commission on all sales and rebills, but there is no webmaster referral program. Promotional tools include hosted galleries, banners, and 30-second video clips from some of the most recent Active Duty videos.
Active Duty, the sponsor’s flagship site, features weekly updates and streaming videos of Military Men in and out of uniform. Videos usually include amateur straight guys, enrolled in the service, experiencing gay sex for the first time. FlamingoBucks states they will soon add two additional sites, Dirty Bird Pictures and XXX Amateur Hour, for affiliate webmasters to promote.
Unfortunately, the one improvement I had hoped for from Dink did not materialize. He continues to siphon off affiliate traffic with prominent links to his DVD and Pay-Per-View stores. Until Dink gets rid of his traffic leaks he’s not an attractive sponsor program, in my eye.
Dink Flamingo’s quote taken from his press release…
“We’ve never spent a lot of time catering to our affiliate program, but with the launch of Flamingobucks.com we are about to change all that. Flamingobucks.com is geared toward helping our affiliates achieve the conversions they expect from such a great product.”
If Dink Flamingo is truly serious about embracing his affiliate webmasters, he needs to take a long hard look at his competition.
