Boyride V2 Announced
I got this strange Email newsletter from the skater, surfer, straight dude site Boyride today. The subject line reads “Newsletter - Boyride 2.0 goes Live”, and the actual newsletter consists of this huge image.
There are no details as to what changes have been made. Clearly they have come out with a new site tour, but there is no language about what alterations, if any, have been made to the member area or content.
Boyride has always had a leaky tour, and V2 is no different. The new tour has a prominent link to their video store, something affiliates will not get credit for when sales are made. They have also integrated a blog, but it’s difficult to determine if it too is a traffic leak.
The new tour uses a font that is extremely difficult to read. Some would argue it doesn’t make any difference, because surfers don’t read anyway. Personally, I think it’s a mistake.
Apparently someone forgot to include a link to their affiliate program page. If one exists I could not find it.
