Topic: Board loading slow? (Read 1174 times)

Hi,
I am wondering if this is just me, but everytime I try to load a thread it either loads really slow or in some cases just hangs and I have to refresh a couple of times in order to get it to display. Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm not seeing any problems on my end. I do optimize everything once a week to make sure the database is performing properly.
Have you used the spell checker? I've noticed its incredibly fast...compared to what I'm use to.

Hmmm I'm wondering if it may just be because of the part of the world I'm in? I don't have this problem with other boards I post on. InGayPorn itself loads fine for me, the only thing that is slow is when I click on individual threads. Anyways if I'm the only one I guess I can be patient and wait for it to load, I can usually get it to speed up if I refresh it after the original click.

I looked for any settings that might be causing problem, but did not see anything. I ran all the diagnostics and everything checks out fine. I also forced optimize all the tables, something that automatically happens every 7 days. Not sure if any of this will improve things for you, but it was worth a try.  |

okay, it does seem a bit better now, still isn't lightening but at least loading without refreshing, maybe I've just been having slow Internet problems here. Thanks for checking it out for me! |
