As of this writing, the site tour looks leak free, and they are writing a standard 3 day CCBill cookie. Promotional materials include a small collection of mostly odd sized banners, but the sponsor claims they will deliver custom banners within a 24 hour time frame. The sponsor also states they will send webmasters a comp account and weekly update pack, but it is implied affiliates have to request it.
The CCBill powered affiliate program states, both on their web site and in the Email I received, they pay 50% of ALL joins and rebills (50% taken after credit card processing fee). After signing up I checked this from the CCBill admin panel and discovered the following:
- For recurring subscriptions - payments for rebills end after 2 rebills
- For trail subscriptions - payments for rebills end after 1 rebill.
If a new sponsor wants to attract webmasters, they need to come out of the gates with good credibility and an attractive affiliate package, something these guys have failed to do, in my opinion. When I see this sort of thing I conclude the sponsor needs to be watched carefully for any unannounced changes, something I personally don’t have time for.
