PrideBucks and CBL go their separate ways
On January 4, 2006 PrideBucks announced, to their affiliates, the addition of CollegeBoysLive (CBL) to the sponsor program’s lineup. This announcement follows PrideBucks’s late December move to NATS, and their fall release of ExtraBigDicks.com, a long awaited addition to the sponsor’s collection.
CollegeBoysLive has been around for a number of years as a popular plugin, and pay site. The plugin offers clients two live voyeur houses in Orlando and Tamapa Florida. The pay site offers the same feeds, plus a collection of feeds from other producers - Boy Project, Dorm Boiz, Dude Dorm, Boys Condo, SpyBoys, and Spy on Him.
The CBL pay site was repackaged with a slick new tour for PrideBucks, and housed on a separate domain - cbllive.com. Additionally, the membership price point was raised, presumably to make the offering attractive to prospective affiliates.

Promotion of the new PrideBucks/CBL partnership was in full force at Internext Las Vegas, with a dozen or so CBL boys sporting CollegeBoysLive at PrideBucks.com T-shirts. Following Internext, a public announcement that the two companies had “partnerned up” was made on Unity360, a gay webmaster board operated by PrideBucks.
On January 18, two weeks after the new site’s announcement went out to all PrideBucks affiliates, Vice President of Marketing and Webmaster Relations Rainey Stricklin sent an Email to some, or all, of their affiliates announcing the deal was off. The announcement included a stern warning that the contents of the message were confidential/proprietary, and recipients are prohibited from copying or distributing its contents without written permission from the company.
When prompted for details of the breakup, CBL owner Zac said, “there was a difference of opinion that unfortunately couldn’t be resolved.”
CBLlive.com is still on-line, with a few link modifications that were apparently necessary after the breakup. As of this writing, no other details of the breakup have been made public.
