RSS Cuts Affiliates Out Of Big Bucks
In an announcement released by MenOnTheNet, Raging Stallion’s Gunzblazing affiliate program has cut a deal to promote their newest pay site exclusively through the on-line directory. MOTN states, in their announcement, this deal is just for “the initial launch phase” of the new gay stud website. The length of this “phase” was not specified.
Everyone knows new sites have a higher conversion than those that have been out for a while. It will be interesting to see what their reaction is when the sponsor’s loyal affiliates discover they have been cut out of this lucrative opportunity.
The press release, consisting mostly of quotes from Gunzblazing’s owner Brian Randall, was clearly intended to promote the Directory’s advertising prowess. Unfortunately it has all the makings of a PR disaster for Raging Stallions sponsor program.
As of this writing, no mention of the new site can be found at Gunzblazing.com.
Interesting. Ever hear the saying “Don’t Put All Your Eggs In One Basket”? Frankly, IMHO MenOnTheNet is WAY over rated.
