I just noticed Straight Fraternity has added a pop up page with 13 banners on it promoting other programs’ sites. In addition they have a link in the top menu bar of their site tour which takes visitors to a links page that includes the same 13 banners. The menu bar also links to a DVD store.
Apparently these guys have forgotten they need to pay for affiliate webmaster traffic, not siphon it off for their own exclusive gain!

This popunder has been there a while. I thought the content was good but noticed the popunder in late November 09. I queried it thinking it was probably meant for search engine rather than affiliate traffic. No response, so chased it again and Richard said he would understand if we didn’t want to promote based on that. So we don’t! It’s a pity as some of the content looked good and original but we’re not sending traffic that wants commissions from our traffic for sites we already promote. Plus it’s a popunder on the splash page, not an exit console which suggests a lack of faith in ability to convert on your own content.

It looks like they’ve listened. The popunder has disappeared for now and the affiliate mailshot says there is now an affiliate leak free tour
